And is there any doubt why a large percentage of students in USA have problem finding the country on a global map. How embarrassing for Miss South Carolina. This question was just too hard for her :-)
I'm sure that there is hope as the USA contains some of the top Ivey league schools in the world. There are many bright intellectuals that were educated in the USA and have gone to do many marvelous things. Unfortunately most of them aren't doing a beauty pageant. Therefore they should really reduce the difficulty level of the questions so that the contestants can sound as good as they look!
